Albuquerque's Strong Underlying Economy Places Them on Forbes' "Cities for Best Foreclosure Bargains" List
The Realtor Association of New Mexico reports this month that Forbes magazine has analyzed the country's 100 largest metro areas and then differentiated among inexpensive foreclosure markets and those that were undervalued. In markets where housing appears to be stabilizing, buying a foreclosure could be a very good deal. Forbes identified the healthiest economies and then looked at the spread
KB Home, among the top five local builders in recent years, has decided to leave New Mexico and three other states to focus on markets that they anticipate will provide more growth and more money, according to an article in today's Albuquerque Journal.
According to the article, KB's communities currently under construction will be completed and all warranties will be honored, even after the builder has left the state physically.
